Ellen Bryant Voigt

Ellen Bryant Voigt developed and directed the country’s first low-residency writing program in the mid-1970s. She is the author of eight books of poetry as well as The Flexible Lyric and The Art of Syntax. Among her numerous awards and honors is a 2015 MacArthur Fellowship.
