Ana Menéndez – Witness: Fragmentation and Polyphonies (January 2023)

$5.00

In recording the voices of the moral devastation of the 20th century, visual and literary artists have often turned to the fragmentary form as both medium and commentary. Ana Menéndez’s lecture explores various definitions of fragmentation, through discussions of texts by Svetlana Alexievich, Sandra Cisneros, Ross Gay, and others, but is ultimately concerned with the fractalization that is rooted in the ethics of attention.
